Join us for the ultimate mix of artisanal skill learning where zero waste sewing meets botanical dyeing. This 5 week course has been condensed into 2 x 5 hours days for those who live busy lifestyles or are eager to get into things! It will include a free advanced onion dyeing pdf and you will leave with a wallet, dyed reworked garment and various skills in dyeing with foodwaste, hand-stitch repair techniques and fashion sketching.
This semester will run in the West End studio with the option to buy a bundle of a weekend or two consecutive Saturdays.
Classes will run 10:30am - 3:30pm which a break to eat lunch
Course outlook:
Learn hand stitching techniques and make a zero waste card wallet
Bring in your own garments (Limit of 2) which we be used to be regenerate into your chasing zero garment. This week you will learn 2 different foodwaste dyeing techniques!
Learn how to use a template to sketch out your own design. Cut out and swatch fabrics / colourways for your design!
